Seoul Metro Visits IBASE Technology

Taipei, Taiwan, May 31, 2019 - IBASE Technology Inc. (TPEx: 8050), a leader in the manufacture of industrial Panel PCs and embedded systems, welcomed the Computex delegation from Seoul Metro at the Nangang office yesterday. The 20 corporate elites who came from different departments of Seoul Metro received a heartfelt hospitality from IBASE top management and were given a briefing of the latest intelligent transportation products by Mr. Wilson Lin, IBASE product director.   

Seoul Metro praised IBASE for the quality and stability of the latter’s embedded computers installed in the passenger information control systems in South Korea several years ago. They have arranged the special visit to learn more about IBASE’s cutting-edge intelligent railway solutions including EN50155 certified railway computers, panel PCs, passenger information systems, and intelligent transportation system solutions. 

IBASE has long been engaged in the development of intelligent transportation computing systems. The products have been adopted by worldwide transportation institutions in Europe, USA and Asia. Current products designed for intelligent railway and transportation applications include the bar-type DRD-037PC panel PC, which is an ultra-wide 21:6 double-sided computer that has IP65 dust and water protection and a single motherboard to drive screen displays on two sides. It complies with EN50155 rolling stock equipment and EN45545-2 fire protection standards. 

The MPT-3000RP is an EN50155-TX certified and IP67-rated embedded system offering water and shock resistance and high computing performance to meet railway system requirements. It employs full vehicle battery power control and interchangeable modular power supplies supporting a variety of inputs that is perfect for railway applications.
